Kitten Choice advice
When considering a kitten, please consider your kittens health, temperment and ensure s/he is not too inbred as this can lead to problems and doesnt support healthy breeding. Be wary of under priced cats and look for ethincal breeders who follow Defra, Tica, GCCF and Fife standards. These kittens are often, unvaccinated, unregistered and the breeder is out to make money. Unless you can afford the vet bill, its best to stay away from this type of breeder. Kittens should be healthy, come with papers and fully vaccinated. When a kitten has papers, it means it is a true pedigree and officially registered.
All kittens are registered with the rgistering body (TICA, FIFE or GCCF) on the non active register (not for breeding), unless otherwise agreed. All non active cats are to be neutered and not used for breeding (Must be neutered by 12mths of age, advised at 6mths). I reserve the right to reprocess the cat should this occur, as per contract.
Fabulous felines...fun...friendships. Wherever you are, you're in TICA's world!
The International Cat Association, Inc. (TICA) is the world's largest genetic registry of pedigreed and household pet cats and one of the world's largest sanctioning bodies for cat shows.
(Pet or show homes only unless agreed before)
Kittens will be no younger than 12 weeks of age. Usually they go to their new homes at 13-14 weeks.
Deposits of £100 used to secure kittens are non refundable, but transferable. No cash refunds, alternative kitten offered in replacement, which is the same or better quality. I reserve the right to refuse to sell a kitten if I feel the home is unsuitable.
I will only sell kittens, which are well balanced, socialised and in good health. I cannot guarantee a cats health once s/he has left us, however the kitten will be vet checked, insured and I will advise you to get your kitten vet checked within 24/48 hours of sale.
Each kitten will be litter trained and taught general manners and house trained- thats not to say they will carry it on in your home, thats up to you.
All kittens come with 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan, it is strongly advised you continue the policy for at least the first year.
Kittens are wormed regularly, frontlined (preventative flea treatment) and fully vaccinated against Feline RCP and sometimes Chlamyidia, before they go to their new homes. Microchipping is available at extra cost, if required.
I use Trigene Advance & Safe 4 Disinfectants as part of routine cleaning. My home is also treated with preventative flea spray.
I will provide a free information pack, goodie bag and vaccination certificate, along with the registration Certificate and pedigree certificate with each kitten.
